Accessibility statement.

Free Will wants everyone to be able to read this site, use it, and join the list. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across every page, on desktop and mobile.

What we’ve done

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone: visible focus outlines, a skip-to-content link, and pop-ups that keep focus inside them and close with Escape.
• Text and background colors meet the AA contrast minimum, including on the navy and cream sections.
• Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can move through them.
• Moving video and animation can be paused with the “Pause motion” control on the homepage, and everything stops on its own if your device is set to reduce motion.
• Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology.
• Form fields have labels, and errors are announced, not just colored.

How we check

Every page is tested with automated checks (axe-core) against WCAG 2.1 A and AA before it goes live, at desktop and phone sizes, plus a keyboard walk-through of anything interactive. A page that fails does not ship. We re-audit whenever the design changes.

Known limits

The homepage is a rich, animated page, and some interactive illustrations (the gear and glass stages) are best experienced visually. Each has a keyboard-reachable, text-described alternative, but if anything is hard to use, we want to know.

Standards & specs

Target: WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This site is built as plain HTML and CSS. The homepage uses JavaScript for its FAQ, pop-ups and interactive illustrations; every other page reads fine with JavaScript off. Tested in current Chrome and Safari on desktop and phone.
